가끔 지난간 시간을 반추해보면 세상이 변한건지 사람이 변한건지

                       헷갈릴때가 있다. 변하지 말아야 할 것들은 변하고 변해야 할 것들은

                       늘 그 자리를 지킨다. 그 지점에서 확인되는 사람들의 다양한 모습들을

                       보며 한번쯤 사람은 무엇으로 사는지를 되물어 보고 싶을때가 있다.

                       사람은 무엇으로 사는가?

                       Reflecting upon the passed time, sometimes, we are confused whether it's

                       people or the worlds outside that have changed. Things that we don't want to be changed

                       have changed, and things that we want to be changed have stayed where they were.

                       Observing people with a variety of looks that are confirmed at their very places, we

                       would feel like asking a question once again, "What do people live for?".

                       유가족들의 422일간의 투쟁으로 대통령소속 의문사진상규명위원회가 한시적으로 설립됐다.

                       그 위원회에 죽은자들의 동지였던 민간조사관들과 군,경찰,기무사,국정원에서 파견된 공무원

                       출신 조사관들이 함께 일을 한다.그들의 목표는 진상규명이지만 목표를 향해 달려가는 그들의

                       모습은 여러 가지다. 미비한 권한과 높은 대의 그리고 그속에 준비되지 않는 사람들의 갈등과

                       모순.위원회는 바로 우리시대의 얼굴이다.

                       Through the 422 days' sitting struggle by the bereaved families, the Presidential

                       Truth Commission on Suspicious Deaths was established temporarily. As civil

                       investigators, friends of the deceased work together with government officials from

                       military, police, and intelligence agencies. Their common goal is to find the truth, but

                       the way they run to the goal is all different. High moral cause with lack of authority,

                       and internal conflict & contradiction among the committee members who are not just

                       prepared. (to do it!) The committee is the mirror of our age.

                       작품소개

                       유가족들의 422일간의 투쟁으로 2000년 10월 16일 대통령소속 의문사진상규명위원회가

                       한시적으로 설립됐고 2002년 10월 16일 종료됐다. 그 위원회에서 위원회 출범 1년전부터

                       사건을 연구해 왔던 28명의 민간조사관들과 군,경찰,기무사,국정원에서 갑자기 발령 받아

                       파견나온 25명의 공무원출신 조사관들이 함께 일을 했다. 반민특위에도 못미치는 미비한

                        조사권한과 함께 출신이 다른 민간조사관과 공무원출신 조사관들의 좁혀지지 않는 입장

                       차이,그리고 공조직에서 일하게 된 민간조사관들 내부의 갈등까지 우리사회가 당면한 현실과

                       갈등의 지점을 그대로 재현해서 보여준다. 그리고 위원회는 마무리되지 않은 사건들을

                       마무리하며 1기 위원회를 종료한다. 결국 법개정을 위해 다시 투쟁에 나서야만 하는 유가족들.

                       언제까지 우리는 그들에게 책임을 미루려 하는 것일까?  ‘사람은 무엇으로 사는가'는

                       대한민국의 부끄러운 보고서이다     top
